The Mindful Way Monthly
is a monthly online experiential collective group designed for mental health professionals who want to deepen their understanding and application of mindfulness based exercises, guided imagery, and expressive art within their practice.

Each month we will come together online for a 2-hour immersive experience that blends guided imagery, expressive art, and mindfulness-based practices in a way that feels both joyful and practical. We will gather and explore a new guided imagery chapter each month from The Mindful Way to Wellness workbook, engage in related exercises and artwork, and discuss ways to ethically integrate these practices with clients in a meaningful, trauma-informed way.

The Mindful Way Monthly Description

Each monthly session begins with a large group demonstration, where mindfulness-based therapist and author Mari A. Lee, LMFT, CSAT-S, CPTT-S, MBATT-S guides participants through that month’s chapter of mindfulness exercises, guided imagery, reflections and the art activity. This shared experience sets the tone for inspiration, connection, and learning. From there, participants move into breakout rooms to actively practice the chapter’s mindfulness and guided imagery in smaller groups—an engaging space to support, reflect, and share insights with peers. We then come back together for a large group reflection, lively discussion, and Q&A, weaving everyone’s experiences into a collective learning journey.

By moving through the guided imagery chapters, mindfulness exercises, and artwork together, participants build continuity each month, deepen their personal and professional practice, and walk away with new tools they can immediately integrate into client work.

Our monthly gatherings are equal parts educational, creative, and fun! Offering space for professional growth, personal reflection, and community connection—all while nourishing your own well-being. Think of it as a refreshing blend of learning, creative exploration, and mindful self-care rolled into one.

To join the Mindful Way Monthly workshops, participants must first complete either:

  • The introductory Mindful Way to Wellness 3 hour workshop, or

  • A one-on-one consultation session with Mari, designed to orient you to the framework and support readiness for the monthly series.

This ensures all participants share a common foundation and are prepared to fully engage with the guided imagery, art practices, large group demonstration, and breakout room practice sessions.
